March 29, 2003, 12:00 AM - My camera and Rodin

Before I left Stanford I took a trip down to the Rodin Sculpture Garden and took a few pictures of The Gates of Hell, one of my favorite sculptures. I finally dug them up and put them online, along with the relevant verse from Dante's Inferno, predictably enough. Enjoy!

March 28, 2003, 12:00 AM - Bored during spring break...

Got bored out of my skull during spring break and so decided to update my web page. Not much has happened since I last updated, but I did get accepted into Stanford's coterminal CS program, so I'm now officially a (hybrid) grad student. Also, I'll be going to Japan next spring and summer via Stanford's SCTI program. I'm set to leave on April 16, so I get two extra weeks of spring break; I know that I should be ecstatic about that, but there's absolutely nothing to do here in Hawaii, so I'm counting the days until I leave.

I also got a nice Casio Exilim camera. A bit pricey, but the size alone is a nice feature. Expect lots of (badly shot) pictures to go up soon.
